1st visit to London! Our driver’s name was Clifford! He kept in touch with me through the day to make sure with flying everything was going correctly. We actually was early checking in to our room and was able to start the 4 hour tour earlier. He was very knowledgeable with the history of London and we really enjoyed listening to what all he to say about the different sights we saw! He asked me before thru texted what we wanted to see and I told him whatever he believes we need to see because this is the 1st time here and might never make it back. This is the second time I have used Viator and would higher recommend them. Both times I have used them the driver would pleasant and knowledgeable!+3Posted on Viator
Janelle_L13 October 2026Highly recommend Lee was wonderful! Well versed in historic and current events. A true local! I would suggest booking a morning tour as traffic is less than afternoon. You can visit the Roman ruins near St Paul’s Cathedral after the tour.Posted on Viator
Elizabeth_C13 October 2026Great Black Cab Tour in London I believe the Black Cab tour with Richard was the perfect way to begin our trip in London! He was prompt and picked us up at our lodging. He 100% made the tour easy and allowed us to see the fabulous London landmarks with history that he brought to life. He showed us well known treasures and lesser known places with stories and legends that made the tour fun, exciting and left us wanting more. We couldn't believe how quickly the tour ended. We went on a Saturday morning when traffic was lighter which allowed us into areas like Buckingham Palace area, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey area, the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge without fighting any crowds. He also showed us areas with remnants of the bombings of WWII, places where the Royals acquire their clothes, and part of the wall the Romans built around the city before 200 AD!!!! He was friendly and happy to ensure that we enjoyed our tour and let us know that we could contact him if we had questions later. This was the perfect way to get an understanding of the lay out of the city of London and really have an excitement for landmarks, museums and tours we had scheduled later in the week. I highly recommend this tour especially with our guide Richard.Posted on Viator

We enjoyed the conversation, the tour, and the other places he suggested we try! Well worth it!Posted on ViatorKhurram_A5 October 2026A memorable tour of London with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide What a lovely and memorable experience of London with Mathew! We had booked a tour for family who were here from Italy and USA, all with different health and mobility issues so booking a black cab tour made sense. What really made this special was our tour guide Mathew. He was extremely patient, so knowledgeable and took us to all the landmark spots. He knew the best spots to take our pictures too. I would definitely recommend and also recommend Mathew and viewing the sites in a black cab is genius.Posted on Viator
Tom_B4 October 2026Divertido e informativo ¡Buen tour! Disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo con él.Posted on ViatorTheresa_W3 October 2026The tour was wonderful... The tour was wonderful and covered all areas mentioned in the brochure. Floyd_O2 October 2026Excellent private London tour Since we had a group of 15 travelers, we booked 3 cars. The drivers were Rod, Ruben, and Richard. They were excellent tour guides, taking us to the sites we wanted to visit. They gave us background of rich England history and took us to spots where we could get take good photos. They pick you up and return to your hotel. Highly recommended!Posted on ViatorShaRenae_A2 October 2026This private car tour was... This private car tour was 1000% worth it. Lee was our driver and he did an amazing job taking us to all the big sites plus other places we didn’t think or know about. You can have him give a general tour or add custom locations tailored to your interest. He even included bonus Harry Potter sites from the movie after we told him our daughter was a big Harry Potter fan. The number of sites and monuments we were able to see in four hrs would not have been possible on our own. He also added so much context and stories behind each place we stopped that made the experience worth it. He knew the best location and angles for pictures. I would recommend a morning tour to beat all the London traffic and see as much as possible. If it fits your budget this tour is absolutely worth itPosted on GetyourguideKate1 October 2026Paul was an amazing tour guide! The car was very clean and comfortable. We were very thankful for Paul’s driving experience and history knowledge. Posted on ViatorHoward_M29 September 2026Excellent Tour, Perry! From first greeting, “Hello,” to last greeting, “Goodbye,” a truly enjoyable tour of London. All sights were explained to us in wonderful stories, all true!Posted on Tripadvisor

Favorite part of the trip We had such a wonderful sightseeing tour of London with Lee! This was our first time visiting London, and he made the experience so memorable for us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, and he showed us so many of the iconic sights while sharing interesting history and stories along the way. We were traveling with my mother-in-law and my 6-year-old daughter, and Lee was wonderful with all of us. He made the tour feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed or overly touristy, and he was happy to tailor it to the things we were most interested in seeing. It was the perfect introduction to London and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a private sightseeing tour, I would absolutely recommend booking with Lee. Thank you for such a great afternoon and for making our first day in London so special!Posted on Tripadvisor

Sandy11 September 2026Amazing Private Tour of London Four of us were visiting London for the first time. Through Trip Advisor we hired Clifford for our four hour private black cab tour. He was exceptional! Three of us are retired teachers and were amazed at the amount of knowledge he shared. We called him our talking encyclopedia! He was also continuously checking to see that we were comfortable. There were times we would stop to stretch our legs, or walk a bit to get a better picture, or look at something close up that we might not see as well in the cab. We could not have asked for a better experience!Posted on Tripadvisor

Tiffany M11 September 2026100% recommend this your guide company! We had a very limited time to view the sights in London. When researching for a guided tour, we couldn’t find anyone that would help us with the airport transfers as well. I reached out directly to the London Sightseeing Tours and they were so helpful. They picked us up at 6 am from Heathrow Airport, gave us a rapid yet very thorough three hour tour of the highlights and even added in some special stops along the way. Dave, our guide got some fantastic pictures of us by the sights that we will treasure forever! We made it back to Heathrow in plenty of time to catch our flight! 100% recommend this company and Dave! We took several tours while on a long two week European Cruise, and this was hands down the best experience we had! You won’t be disappointed!Posted on Tripadvisor

Clifford was the best driver/tour guide we could have asked for. He was considerate of my wife's mobility issues and was always there at the cab door to help her in and out of the cab. He showed us sights in London we never would have seen on our own. His knowledge of London is superior. He was entertaining and knowledgeable about London and its history. He extended the tour by almost an hour because he wanted to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. If you're going to do a Black Cab tour of London, ask for Clifford. She was absolutely fantastic and did such an amazing job of helping us see london on our first day of our trip. I knew we would be jetlagged and didn't want to risk losing a whole day to a random nap or aimless wandering, so I booked the four hour tour figuring we could see all the major landmarks without kids complaining of tired legs and without any of us having to figure anything out. Maria took my expectations and knocked them out of the park. Instead of this being the perfect way to not waste a day, it became our favorite memory of the whole trip! She asked what our interests were and catered the tour to meet them, dropped us off to check out hidden spots or cool moments that were about to start just as we pulled up (I swear she did this multiple times- we'd pull up and she'd say head in there, it's just about to start! and we'd get to see something amazing that wasn't in any tour books/blogs.) SHe noticed when the kids were getting bored of look at historical sites and made sure our next stop was something more active, or a place we could grab a snack, took pictures of the 4 of us- i could go on and on. Book her!!!!Posted on TripadvisorKylan S22 August 2026Harry Potter tour Paul was an excellent choice for a driver . His knowledge of London and where we were heading exceeded my expectations! She knew so much about London’s history, the landmarks, the neighborhoods, and all of the fascinating stories behind the places we were seeing. She didn’t just drive us from stop to stop—she brought London to life for us with her stories and historical knowledge, and we learned so much from her. What made the experience even better was how perfectly she catered the tour to **exactly what we wanted to see and do**. She knew how to get us in and out of the different stops efficiently, where to go, what was worth seeing, and how to make the absolute most of our time. Everything felt personal rather than like a standard scripted tour. Beyond being incredibly smart and knowledgeable, Maria was also just such a **kind, warm and generous person**. She brought us waters, took wonderful care of us throughout the tour, made us feel completely welcome, and was genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. We loved her company just as much as we loved everything she showed us. We cannot recommend her highly enough! From the moment our private London taxi tour began, it was obvious how incredibly knowledgeable Maria is. She knew so much about London’s history, the landmarks, the neighborhoods, and all of the fascinating stories behind the places we were seeing. She didn’t just drive us from stop to stop—she brought London to life for us with her stories and historical knowledge, and we learned so much from her. What made the experience even better was how perfectly she catered the tour to exactly what we wanted to see and do. She knew how to get us in and out of the different stops efficiently, where to go, what was worth seeing, and how to make the absolute most of our time. Everything felt personal rather than like a standard scripted tour. Beyond being incredibly smart and knowledgeable, Maria was also just such a kind, warm and generous person. She brought us waters, took wonderful care of us throughout the tour, made us feel completely welcome, and was genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. We loved her company just as much as we loved everything she showed us. London is such a beautiful city, and Maria gave us an entirely new appreciation for it because of the history, stories and insight she shared along the way. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience or a better guide. Maria is one of a kind, and if you are considering a private London taxi tour, BOOK WITH HER. You will be so glad you did. Highly, highly, highly, highly recommend Maria! Five stars does not feel like enough!Posted on TripadvisorAmelda17 August 2026Great overview of Lindon Four hours to see highlights of London. He 100% made our day personalized! He spent the first 10 min getting to know us and asking us what WE wanted to see and what was interesting to us. When he found out we liked rock music, he took us to abbey road studios! And had us take the perfect Beatles pic at the crosswalk. So great! Plus Paul Mcartney’s house as well as John Lennon’s. Unexpected! Gave us a whole rundown of shops and places and restaurants that we should go to. But of course we hit all the highlights as well: Mayfair bond street, saville row and the shop where the Kingsmen movies were based out of. Westminster Abbey, Big Ben , London Tower Bridge, changing of the royal guard at buckingham palace, the blues and the royals horse guard, Leake street graffiti tunnel, the reflection garden that shows St. Paul’s cathedral, too many to remember! Plus he knew a shocking amount of history and trivia and just general all around knowledge of the city. So interesting and informative! Lastly, he dropped us off at the Borough Market and even gave us recommendations on what food to get there. All in all at 10/10 experience. Plus I might add, Greg was just such a nice and kind and patient and funny dude to spend a half day with. Really felt like he was an old friend showing off his hometown. She was knowledgeable about the area finding her own private pull offs to provide the history rather than trying to talk over large crowds. We packed a lot into one day with her; she even listened to our chatter and took us off the path to find what we were looking for.
